COLUMBIA A memorial service for William Ernest Tarpley, 84, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Covenant United Methodist Church in Gastonia, N.C. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mr. Tarpley died Friday, March 23, 2012. Born on August 12, 1927, in Fife, Ga., he was the son of the late Ernest and Eunice Spier Tarpley. He retired from C.K. Supply after many years of service.
