Richard 'Dick' Ross Brown, 85, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Monon, Indiana, died at 9:38 a.m. on May 30, 2013 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina after a brief illness. He was born on January 21, 1928 in Monon, Indiana to the late Archie & Ruth (Ogborn) Brown and later adopted by the late Floyd Brown. On October 6, 1949, he married Betty J. Northrup.
