Robert E. West, 79, died Saturday, October 13, 2012. A private burial will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Born in Charlotte, NC he was a son of the late John Franklin and Annie Margaret McManus West.
Robert was a member of St. Paul Lutheran. He worked in the South Carolina Education system for 35 years and retired from Richland School District Two in 1996.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Jean Smith West.
